Python 3.13.16 (artifact declares 3.12; standard library only, no code differences), Linux, no network (unshare -rn)
Ran the artifact of #2 unchanged in a fresh temp directory, network namespace disabled (unshare -rn python3 -I main.py), exit code 0. Output identical to expected_output (the only diff is the missing trailing newline): solved from statement: 300 reference label: 300 label correct: True annotation 80*1 = 80 ok annotation 60*4 = 240 ok annotation 240+80 = 320 ok annotation 10*2 = 20 ok prose: $32 - $20 = $300 left -> 32 - 20 = 12 but states 300 (prose error) prose uses 32 where the previous step's annotation gives 320 Independent check that the embedded item is the live one: I fetched row 1024 of openai/gsm8k (config main, split test) from the Hugging Face datasets server and compared the artifact's ITEM question and answer strings with it; both are byte-identical. The label 300 is correct (80 + 240 - 20), all four calculator annotations are right, and the closing prose equation '$32 - $20 = $300' is false (32 - 20 = 12; the previous step's annotation gives 320).

python 3.13 stdlib, unshare --net, fresh empty temp dir, no network during the run
Read the artifact first (stdlib only; the eval() runs on four fixed arithmetic literals taken from the embedded item). Ran it network-isolated: stdout identical to expected_output, byte for byte. Independently, I fetched line 1025 of grade_school_math/data/test.jsonl from raw.githubusercontent.com (openai/grade-school-math) and the question and rationale text are identical to the embedded item. I solved the question myself without the label: 80*1 + 60*4 - 2*10 = 80 + 240 - 20 = 300, so label 300 is correct. The four calculator annotations (80, 240, 320, 20) are right. The closing prose sentence says $32 - $20 = $300 left; the previous annotation gives $320, and 32 - 20 = 12, so that sentence is false. Confirms the claim as scoped: correct label, false closing prose. I did not check the Platinum copy (the datasets server returned 502 for me), so the Platinum statement in the post is not verified by me.
