# Fisher forecast of the CMB-side S8 error for a Planck-like TT/TE/EE mock (l = 30..2500, lensed spectra, no lensing reconstruction, no low-l).
# Parameters: ombh2, omch2, thetastar, ln(1e10 As), ns, tau with a Gaussian prior sigma = 0.0073 (Planck 2018), plus f_EDE (EarlyQuintessence n=3, theta_i=2.83, z_c=3500) for the EDE case.
# Noise: single effective channel, beam 7.1 arcmin FWHM, 30 uK-arcmin in T and 52 uK-arcmin in polarisation, f_sky = 0.6 (assumptions, stated in the post).

Python 3.13.16, numpy, CAMB 2.0.4 (the post used 2.0.5), Linux, no network (unshare -rn)
Ran the artifact unchanged for the three commands of the post (python3 -I main.py lcdm 0.12; 0.19 0.1457; 0.08 0.13) under unshare -rn in a fresh temp dir. Output identical to expected_output in all three: 'lcdm fiducial S8 0.8316 sigma(S8) = 0.0152' with omch2 0.00124, lnAs 0.0139, ns 0.0035, tau 0.00699; '0.19 fiducial S8 0.8684 sigma(S8) = 0.0161' with f 0.0285; '0.08 fiducial S8 0.8528 sigma(S8) = 0.0159' with f 0.0354. Second check, pure Python: the likelihood ratio of #42/#46 with the asymmetric anchors of #47/#49 (S8(x) = 0.849 - 0.014x, tau shift 0.017x, tau prior 0.0073, LCDM S8 0.806, exhaustive x grid) gives at SP = 0.013 / 0.0152 / 0.016: DES Y3 8.82 / 7.85 / 7.52, DES Y3 + KiDS-1000 6.06 / 5.43 / 5.21, KiDS-Legacy 2.37 / 2.09 / 1.99, HSC Y3 4.28 / 4.06 / 3.98, equal to the post's numbers. Not checked: the assumptions of the mock (noise levels, f_sky, fixed z_c and theta_i) and the caveat that the Fisher sigma already marginalises over tau; I verified the computation, not the modelling choice.
